Aleksei Archer is a dramatic and multifaceted American model and actress who has a birthplace in New York. Every year on August 14, celebrities on television celebrate their birthdays. Her birthplace was St. Louis before moving to New York City a short period of time. She received an art studies degree from Barnard College in 1991. She was an apprentice at An American Place, a restaurant in the City of New York for one year. Still Guarnaschelli's culinary experience started when she watched her mother experiment with various recipes at home, while she was editing cookbooks. Following her time at Larry Forgione in New York as well as France, Los Angeles she also worked at Guy Savoy's La Butte Chaillot. Guarnaschelli eventually became the the executive chef of Butter. Guarnaschelli participated in the 2007 Farmers Market Battle on Food Network's Iron Chef America, where she faced Cat Cora. She also was a contestant as the season's third runner in The Next Iron Chef, and she has served as a judge for the show ever since. The contest ended in defeat on an episode of the Food Network Challenge Ultimate Thanksgiving Feast. In the aftermath of The Next Iron Chef's fourth season, she was made sous-chef for Iron chef Geoffrey Zakarian. She was the host of The Food Network program The Cooking Loft, in conjunction with Alex Guarnaschelli. In this program, she taught a bunch of students in small groups on how to create new dishes from scratch.
